i came from the SAP R3 World and explore SAP HANA actually. So i am trying to find old and known objects, languages and concepts from R3 in SAP HANA. So it will be nice if you can help me to find them and confirm my suspicions or reject them. If you reject them it would be nice if you could say me the right counterpart or direct me in the right direction.
Like you can see in the picture i found the concepts and languages which are used in R3 in the different phases and views. So what are the equivalents in SAP HANA.
My suspicions:
Data-oriented-View:
->In the Design-Phase we have Data-Dictornay in R3 in Hana we have Hana Dictionary ?- Right or Wrong ?
->In the Implementation-Phase we have SERM in R3 what do we have in SAP HANA ? Nothing or only the Columnar or Row Tables ?
Function-oriented-View:
In R3 we have the Moduls like FI, CO and so on. We have them in Hana too, the will complete reengineered by the Sap in the next 3 to 5 years -- Right or Wrong ?
Process-oriented-View:
I have no idea what are the equivalents of EPC and Business Eng. in SAP HANA. I only heard of SAP HANA Business Object Intelligence is these are the counterpart of them in HANA ? Right or Wrong ?
So another View is the Objects in SAP R3.
What are here the equivalents of the objects ?
My suspicions:
Data-oriented-View:
->In the Design-Phase we have Tables and Domains in R3 in SAP HANA we have Columnar Tables or ?
->In the Implementation-Phase we have DB-Tables , Pool-Tables etc. in R3 in SAP HANA we have the Views ( Attribute, Analysis...) - Right or Wrong ?
Function-oriented-View:
In R3 we have Programms and Reports, in SAP HANA we have them too, but they are already called native applications. - Right or Wrong ?
Process-oriented-View:
Do we have transactions with transaction codes like in R3 for example SE16N. - Have we or not ?
For the other Objects i don't find equivalents - can you help me.
