BRF+ in S/4 HANA 1511 - where to start?

From the Simpification List (2.1.39.1 Output Management) I can tell that BRF+ is getting important in S/4 HANA, so I would like to have a look at it, try something out (I have a 1511 OnPremise System available).

Can you give me some tipps on where and how to start?

(I found the BRM-Space in SCN ( http://scn.sap.com/community/brm ) which to my understanding partially covers BRF+ as well, but it doesn't seem to relate to S/4 HANA at all?

Also, SAP note 2228611 which should cover the topic (mentioned in 2.1.39.1 Output Management) is not released :-(
